Jagan Reddy, AP minister indicted by CBI

Hyderabad, Sept 17 : YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and Andhra Pradesh minister for Major Industries J Geetha Reddy are among those named in two fresh financial crime indictments by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

In two chargesheets filed in a local court by the CBI in the Lepakshi Knowledge Hub case and the Indu projects case, the agency named Geetha Reddy, her former colleagues Dharmana Prasad Rao and Sabitha Indra Reddy.

Senior IAS officers Ratna Prabha and M Samuel, and suspended IAS officer BP Acharya are among officers named as accused, along with Shyam Prasad Reddy, promoter of Indu projects.

Alleging quid pro quo deals between the politicians and businessmen, the agency has named a total of 10 and 14 accused respectively in the chargesheets filed against Indu Techzone and Lepakshi Knowledge Hub (LKH) in a special CBI court.
