According to the information, Fiorani interfered with the duties of crew members and attendants on board a U.S. Airways flight from Barcelona to Philadelphia on August 7.
If convicted the defendant, faces a maximum possible sentence of 20 years in prison and a fine of USD 250,000. He also may be required to pay full restitution to all victims of his offense.
The case was investigated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Philadelphia Police Department, and the Tinicum Township Police Department.
It is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer Arbittier Williams.
An indictment/information/criminal complaint is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
