Hugh Jackman to receive two back-to-back film festival awards

London, August 31 : Hugh Jackman is going to be honoured with two consecutive awards in September, it has been revealed.

The 44-year-old Australian actor will receive the Donostia award for lifetime achievement at the San Sebastian Film Festival in northern Spain on September 29 and would then travel to Switzerland to be honoured with Golden Icon award at the Zurich Film Festival, the BBC reported.

The director of the Zurich festival, Karl Spoerri, said that the Oscar-nominated star is "a class in himself as a multi-talented entertainer with a huge global following."

Spoerri added that there is nothing that Jackman can't do, which he proves time and again with every project he gets involved in to.

Both events would be screening his new drama 'Prisoners', which is set to make its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
