Google Glass goes chic with cat-eye frames

Washington, Aug. 31: Google's highly anticipated wearable computing gadget Google Glass has been reportedly redesigned with modern frames and pattern to raise additional buzz around the controversial futuristic eye gear.

Designer Isabelle Olsson has created a new version of the gadget with tortoise-shell cat eyes pattern which is available with tinted lenses.

Olsson said that her muse, Google Glass marketing manager, Amanda Rosenberg looked great in the glasses she designed for her.

Rosenberg is rumoured to be in a romantic relationship with Google co-founder Sergin Brin, who is now heading for a divorce with wife Annie Wojcicki.

According to New York Daily News, commenters applauded the new Warby Parker-esque look, a far cry from earlier, awkward models of the futuristic accessory.

Google Glass is set to hit stores in early 2014, but it's not clear if this look will make the final cut, the report added.
