Ajith-Vishnuvardhan project titled 'Arrambam'

Chennai, July 24 : After being untitled for nearly one and half years on the floors, Ajith Kumar's upcoming Tamil thriller has finally been titled "Arrambam", which is being directed by Vishnuvardhan.

"The crew has finally unveiled the name as 'Arrambam'. A simple yet powerful title that isn't glorifying an individual but signifying the theme of the movie," said a statement.

Produced by A.M. Ratnam, "Arrambam" also features Nayantara, Rana Daggubati, Arya, Taapsee Pannu, Kishore, Atul Kulkarni, Mahesh Manjrekar and Suma Ranganath.

The film, which is set for September release, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Meanwhile, Ajith is busy shooting for Tamil romantic-drama "Vinayagam Brothers".
