Cyberabad police arrest 242 persons, including MLAs and one MLC

Hyderabad, Mar 21 : Cyberabad police today arrested 242 persons, including two MLAs and an one MLC from TRS, besides BJP leaders during the Sadak bandh, while no untoward incidents occurred here.

The agitators were arrested under Section 151 CrPC registrered at Shamshabad police station here, Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said in a release this evening.

TRS MLAs T Harish Rao and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, TRS MLC K Swamy Goud, R Satyanarayana( TRS ex-MLC), T Anjan Kumar Goud (BJP District President Ranga Reddy District), Dr Premraj) BJP State working committee member) and Bosupally Pratap (BJP State working committee member), who participated in the bandh by defying ban orders, were arrested, the release added.
