Speaker asks govt to conduct enquiry into errors in Agri document

Hyderabad, Mar 21 : Andhra pradesh Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar today asked the government to conduct an enquiry into the errors in the agriculture action plan document introduced in the House earlier by Agriculture Minister Kanna lakshminaryana.

The opposition parties including TDP and BJP in the House urged the Assembly Speaker to initiate action against the Minister responsible for misleading the House during the presentation of the state budget and Agriculture action plan separately.

The opposition members also accused the treasury benches of not following the procedures like informing the Business Advisory committee and taking the nod of the legislature while presenting a seperate Budget in the House.

While passing a rule, the speaker asked the government to conduct full length inquiry into the shortcoming in the Agriculture action plan document and submit the same in the House later.

The speaker also asked the government to maintain House procedure while releasing such document and not to repeat such errors hereafter.
