Three farmers killed in road accident in Karnataka

Bidar, Karnataka, Mar 21 : Three farmers were killed and two others injured when their goods vehicle collided with a Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus near Halahalli in Dhanoor Police station limits here today.

Police said the two victims were identified as Shankar Biredar (46) and Chandramouly Naidu (60).


One body is yet to be identified.

The victims, hailing from Allur in Humnabad taluk of the district, were travelling with pulses and grains for selling in the city when the mishap ocurred.

While two farmers died on the spot, another on the way to hospital.

The two injured were shifted to hospital.
