Dissolve J&K Assembly: BJP to Governor
Jammu, Mar 21 : BJP today appealed to Jammu and Kashmir Governor N N Vohra to dissolve the state Assembly.
The Governor should immediately dissolve the state Legislative Assembly as the ruling NC Congress coalition government has failed on all fronts and making repeated attempts to escape the public wrath in the current session of the Assembly, BJP state president Jugal Kishore Sharma told reporters here.
The Omar Abdullah government has no replies to the questions raised regarding discrimination with Jammu and developmental activities, he charged.
Whosoever raises issues of discrimination is thrown out of the House by Marshals while those raising anti-national slogans and expressing sympathy with terrorists like Afzal Guru are paid due attention and even their adjournment motions are accepted, the BJP leader said.
He, appealed to Governor Margaret Alva to present the real picture of affairs in the state and recommend dissolution of the state Assembly.
Senior leader and MLA Ashok Khajuria said the NC-Congress coalition is creating hoax among the masses as it has totally failed to ensure equitable development of all the three regions of the state.
