Nienu elected as NPF Chief Whip

Kohima, Mar 21 : Nagaland Minister for Roads and Bridges and Parliamentary Affairs Kuzholuzo Nienu has been unanimously elected as the Naga People's Front Legislative party Chief-Whip.

In a notification, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretary, A E Lotha said Mr Nienu was unanimously elected during the NPF Legislative party meeting held on March 13, at the state Banquet Hall, Kohima.

He would be responsible for the party's discipline on the Floor of the House besides directing NPF members to stick to the party's stand on issues, the notification said.
