JLo rushed to safety after gunshots fired on music video set

London, May 7 : Jennifer Lopez was left shaken after "gunshots" were heard on her music video's set on Sunday, but her quick-thinking minders rushed her to safety.

The 43-year-old singer was filming the promo for her song 'Live It Up' with rapper Pitbull, who features on the track, at a beach park in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The pop diva was being interviewed for US show Entertainment Tonight when the firing sounds were heard and her security promptly interrupted the talk to rush her to safety, the Mirror reported.

"BREAKING: Gunshots fired on Fort Lauderdale Beach DURING my JLo interview. No kidding. Security scrambled her away," co-host Rob Marciano tweeted.

The TV presenter asserted that he saw ambulances rushing to the scene as he headed towards the origin of the sounds to investigate the matter.
