The 27-year-old actress told Women's Wear Daily that her response to the french luxury brand's offer to be the new face of its Very Irresistible line was "F--k yeah," the New York Daily News reported.
Seyfried, who also appears in ads for Cle de Peau Beaute, insisted that it was an honest collaboration.
She asserted that she is proud to be part of all the brands she is associated with because what they do is really cool and especially Givenchy - they're so artistic.
Seyfried, who has replaced fellow actress Liv Tyler, the former face of Givenchy fragrances, also said that she feels like she has got a foot in the fashion industry now.
The 'Dear John' star wore the brand's gown to last year's Tony Awards and was recently spotted at the fashion house's ready-to-wear show.
The beauty brand also called model "a chic, sexy woman who is a perfect fit for Givenchy."
While she is thrilled about her venture into beauty, Seyfried has stressed that a celebrity fragrance isn't on her agenda.
Her Givenchy ads will hit fashion magazines in October.
