Army parade held in New Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 13 : A parade was held at the Army Parade Ground in New Delhi on Monday where the Army showcased the competency of the world's second largest military in which tanks and the latest weaponry took part along with a flypast by helicopters and various regiments marching in perfect unison.

Lieutenant General Philip Campose, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Command reviewed the parade and bestowed various awards to Officers, Junior commissioned officers and other ranks in recognition of their distinguished service to the Army and the Nation.

The grand finale of the parade was the Combat Demonstration which showcased the battle skills and preparedness of the Indian Army.
