Chennai, Jan 13 : Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa Monday announced Rs.100,000 to the 16-year-old boy who was shot inside a police station accidentally by a police inspector. The boy is under treatment at a private hospital.

Jayalalithaa said in a statement that she had ordered the release of the money from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund, taking into consideration the poor economic condition of the boy's family.
