Outages: BJP's power-packed warning to AAP government

New Delhi, Jan 12 : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Sunday warned the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led government in Delhi of agitation over persistent power cuts.

"The BJP will soon launch a 'bijli andolan' if corrective measures are not taken immediately," Delhi BJP president Vijay Goel said.

"The AAP government has failed to bring any clarity on the issue of power. There is no step to repair the meters which are running fast," a statement, quoting Goel, added.

The chief minister has shifted the onus of responsibility for power cuts on the power companies as Delhiites suffer from long and unscheduled power cuts, the statement further said.
