Sarah Palin advises young women to stop taking selfies

Washington, Jan. 12 : Sarah Palin, the former vice presidential candidate, has advised young women that they should focus less on selfies and more on nature.

While promoting her new Sportsman Channel reality TV show, "Amazing America With Sarah Palin," Palin said she wants to see more young women holding a fish than holding their camera in front of a bathroom mirror doing a selfie, E! Online reported.

Earlier it was reported that selfie was the Oxford English Dictionary's word of the year in 2013, with frequency of its use increasing by 17,000 percent.
