Clarke thanks Oz fans, vows to continue domination of England in ODIs

Sydney, Jan 7 : Australian skipper Michael Clarke thanked thousands of fans outside the Sydney Opera House, and said the Australian team will continue its domination of England when the one-day series begins at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from Sunday.

He said that the Ashes belongs to each and every fan who came and supported the team or the millions who tuned in on television or radio.

The Australian team made a public appearance in front of thousands of fans gathered around the Sydney Opera on Tuesday.

Clarke said the team will now turn its attention to deny England the chance to turn its fortunes around in the ODI series, adding that it is important to continue with the momentum in ODIs.

He also thanked family, friends and fans who stuck by the team when Australia lost all four Tests in India and were beaten 3-0 in England, despite playing some good cricket, news.com.au reports.

The team will start training for the ODI series on Wednesday.
