Water supply schemes sanctioned for Himachal

New Delhi/Shimla, Dec 26 : The Himachal Pradesh government on Thursday said the Centre has sanctioned four water supply projects, which will amount to Rs 139.10 crore, for Mandi parliamentary constituency in the state.

Mandi Member of Parliament (MP) Pratibha Singh had taken proposals for sanction of various water supply schemes of Mandi parliamentary constituency.

Pratibha Singh said the Centre has sanctioned funds for Manali water supply scheme(15.04 crore), Kullu water supply scheme(22.74 crore), Mandi water supply scheme(82.18 crore) and Rampur water supply scheme (19.14 crore).

"Mrs Pratibha Singh M P thanked the union urban development minister Sh Kamal Nath for sanctioning the mega water supply projects to the state and also asked state executive agencies for speedy execution of these schemes," the Himachal Pradesh government said in the statement.
