Four killed in China landslide

Beijing, Dec 24 : At least four people were killed and a person was injured in a landslide at a tailings pond Monday in China's Yunnan province, authorities said.

The landslide, which occurred in the morning, buried five people working at the tailings pond, Xinhua reported.

The landslide was caused by days of continuous heavy rain in the region, authorities said. Rescuers found four dead at the site, however, one injured was hospitalised.
