Day 4: South Africa 138 for 2

Johannesburg, Dec 21 : South Africa ended the fourth day's play of the first Test match against India at 138 for 2 here on Saturday.

Chasing 458 for victory, South Africa need to score 320 runs more on the final day with eight wickets still in their hands.

Alviro Petersen(76*) and F du Plessis (10*) remained unbeaten at stumps.

India were all out for 421 on Saturday, ahead of the home side by 458 runs.

The visitors had scored 280 all out in their first innings before dismissing the home side for 244.
