New author roped in to write 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' series

New York, Dec 18 : A new author has been tapped to continue 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo' series, as it's original creator Stieg Larsson passed away in 2004.

According to reports, Swedish publish Norstedts announced that a deal was made with author David Lagercrantz to continue the adventures of Mikael Blomqvist and Lisbeth Salander, the New York Daily News reported.

However, the novel, due for publication in August 2015, will not have the material Larsson was working on at the time of his death.
