Titan promotes eyecare with walk

By Tulika Bhaduri, Kolkata, Dec 15 : Titan Eye plus joined hands with the NGO Hridya family to host a Walkathon on the theme 'Eye Care We Care' in the bid to raise awareness about the issues of vision safety and care.


The Walkathon was flagged of from Deshbandhu Park at 7 am by celebrity footballers Chima Okorie and Odafe along with the members of the Hridaya and staff of Titan Eye plus and ended at Titan Eye plus store, Gariahat.

Expressing the importance of spreading awareness about eye care, regional business manager, Santosh said," according to a research survey in India, roughly one third of the people need vision correction, whereas only 25 to to 30 per cent have taken steps towars vision correction."

Titan Eye plus stores offer free zero error eye tasting conducted by the optometrists trained by Sankara Nethralaya along with wide assortment of stylish eyewear and lenses.
