BJP offers ticket to Sourav: Reports

Kolkata, Dec 14 : India's main opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has offered a ticket to former Indian skipper and cricket icon Sourav Ganguly to contest the Lok Sabha election in 2014, media reports said on Saturday.

According to reports, the party has also promised to make Ganguly the sports minister if it comes to power next year.

Ganguly, however, has not taken a decision over the proposal.

"Yes, I have got an offer. I have not taken any decision on the issue so far. Actually, I am very busy for the past few days," Ganguly told Anandabazar Patrika.
