Appreciating the facilities being provided by the Haryana Government to children and women through Aanganwadi Centres, Zimbabwe Deputy Prime Minister Arthur Mutambara said he was impressed by this scheme and would try to implement a similar programme in his country.
Mr Mutambara was on a visit to Aanganwadi Centres at Manesar in Gurgaon district with a delegation of young global leaders of World Economic Forum.
He said the Haryana Government was sensitive regarding the health of women and children and hasd been providing nutritious food to them.
He said the efforts made by Haryana Government in this regard were commendable.
He said there were many countries where every year expectant mothers died because of anemia and children upto six years of age died due to malnutrition.
