Kolkata clinic introduces low dose CT scanner

CT scanner Brivo CT385 having low dose exposure to body with other unique features was installed at Pulse Diagnostics Private Limited in Kolkata on Saturday.

Tollywood actress Koneenica Banerjee was present on the occasion.

CEO of Pulse Diagnostics Sunaina Bihani said amidst technological upgradation all over the world medical science also was advancing, and the low dose CT scanner Brivo CT385 manufactured by GE is one such innovation.

Bihani said Brivo CT385, a complete 24 channel CT data acquisition has come up with features like providing high quality images at lower radiation dose to the patients at a fast and ultra modern workflow and has already done 300 x-rays in the opening day at a very short while.

According to the GE officials, this new CT scanner Brivo CT385 can work faster comparing to the older CT scanners, and has got the ability like Organ Dose Modulation and ASiR technology which would reduce 40pc rays exposed to the body that could harm us with side effects.

Konnenica endorsing the new addition said she would feel much safer with the tests in future.
