BSF men and Ludhiana Academy women bag titles

With an all-win record, Border Security Force won the men's trophy in the 22nd Punjab Basketball Annual League organized in memory of Arjun Awaree Gurdial Singh Malhi at village Gure in District Ludhiana today.

In their final league outing, Border Security Force overcame Punjab Armed Police by 78-64 points.

In a well-contested match, Vinod and Mod Singh played a stellar role in shaping BSF's hard-fought victory. Vinod top-scored with 25 points while Mod Singh contributed 20 points. For PAP, Amritpal made 19 points.

Ludhiana Academy secured third position after beating Rest of Punjab by 65-43 points. Palpreet (22) and Talwinderjit (20) were the main scorers for the winners. Gurwinder Singh netted 18 points for Rest of Punjab.

Ludhiana Academy beat Ludhiana District by 52-24 points in their last league match. Kiranjit Kaur continued to give a consistent display by contributing 26 points for Ludhiana Academy. Dipali made 19 points for Ludhiana District Amritsar and Ludhiana Districts finished runners-up and third, respectively.
