Political parties should exercise transparency: Joshi

Senior BJP leader and PAC Chairman Murli Manohar Joshi today said political parties should maintain transparency on their financial status.
Dr Joshi, while attending a Meet the Press programme here this afternoon, said it would be appropriate if all the political parties divulge on their sources of income and its utilisation.
He also counseled two principal parties-- Congress and BJP-- to decide to live on their own and also take firm stand on policies and selection of allies.
"They should be like-minded and in unison who did not demonstrate contrary stand," Mr Joshi said.
