The 3rd North-East Agri Expo 2012, a mega agricultural event, organised by the Nagaland Government will be held from November 15 to 17 on the theme 'progressive agriculture' at the Agri Expo Site, 4th Mile in Dimapur.
According to official sources today for the first time, the NER Agri Expo will be organised culminating with the state government's year-long celebration of Youth Expo-cum-Tribal Fest 2012 bringing more attractive events for visitors.
The programme is supported by Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operation, Department of North Eastern Region (DoNER) and North Eastern Council (NEC).
With participation from all eight NE states along with national and international participants from both private and public sectors, the Agri Expo 2012 promises to be different from the previous events.
Boosted by the successes of previous expos, the Nagaland Government has started all preparations on war-footing to provide an impressive show.
The objective of the Expo is to create an excellent platform for public and private sectors, buyers and sellers, exhibitors and investors and supporting institutes to forge linkage in line with the theme 'progressive agriculture' by showcasing agriculture and allied products thereby promoting trade and investment opportunities for the NE states.
