Vinod Rathod has wowed listeners with his hit Bollywood numbers for a long time, but on Saturday the popular singer cut his first album on Tagore songs before audience at a city hotel.
Lending his voice for Sahrukh Khan, Sanjay Dutt or Govinda in Bollywood for more than 15 years, to add some different notes on his singing careers, Vinod unveiled his first Tagore songs album "Ami chini go chini" with a lot of expectation from the audiences.

Releasing his album in presence of music designer Diptanil Chowdhury and Utpal Roy, Rathod thanked them heartily and expressed that Kolkata was always his favourite place in case of music, culture an art, and he thought himself very fortunate to work on Tagore songs.
"I never experimented with the original singing styles of the songs, instead, I have done a thorough research on the songs to relate with the people's emotion more, so that I can take Rabindra Sangeet to a new height through humble effort," added Rathore.
"Being a different genre of non-Bengali singer how beautifully and with emotions, devotion and correct pronunciation Vinod prepared the Tagore songs is commendable," said Diptanil at the press meet.
The album is a collection of total eight popular tracks of Tagore and Rathod explored them in a different way, added Diptanil.
