Tollywood actor Parambrata Chatterjee and vocalist Kausiki Deshikan launched singer Anweshaa's solo Bengali music album aimed at catering to the audience during the festive period.
The album termed "Ekla Tor..Sarata Din", produced by Ragranjani has eight songs which would reach out to her Bengali as well as non-Bengali fans with one Hindi song "Tere Naina" to add to the mix.
"I promise my audience that there's no opportunity to get bored," gushed an elated Anweshaa.
"The album is about loving oneself, loving nature and since I am an artist who represent youth, Ekla Tor...Sarata Din is a musical freedom," added the young singer.
The album has been composed by Indradip Dasgupta and lyrics penned down by Srijato while it has been conceptualized by Tapan Basu.
Said Srijato,"This album is different to me. Since Anweshaa is very young, the album provided me an excuse to travel back to my college days."
The launch was also graced by Jayanta Sarkar, Lopamudra Mitra, Emon Chatterji and Saptak Bhattacharya among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Parambrata said,"I am myself a fan of Anweshaa. I personally feel very good to be the part of this piece of art."
Parambrata who has just wrapped up his second directorial venture, 'Hawa Badal' commented, "Various socio-economic factors, increased income levels and multiplexes are some of the reasons which enhanced new Bengali cinema and culture."
Despite Kahani being not selected for the Oscar's foreign film entry, Parambrata wants to retain the good feeling about Barfi, shrugging off controversies.
While Anweshaa promises to delight her audience with her music during the pujas, Parambrata will unveil the theme for Suruchi Sangha along with Srijit Mukherjee.
