Pune techie debuts with book on relationships
Pamela Sinha Mathure, a software engineer by profession and a passionate writer, launched her first book 'Of Love and Lovers' at Oxford Bookstore here on Saturday.
Noted Bengali novelist, critic and a poet Bani Basu unveiled the book with Pamela, who now lives in Pune.
The novel revolves around the lives of characters named Samantha, Shipra, Vikas and Aditya who are trying to overcome difficulties in their relationship against the cross-culture milieu and search for true love.
The book follows the journey of their attempt to understand the most impending questions in their relationship, said the new writer.
The story explores the matters of trust and emotions that help to define the essence of the situation. It projects the elements of melancholy, joy and suffering in the lives of these characters.
Spanning across Toronto and Mumbai, the book highlights the peculiar way in which these four characters intersect and how their lives change.
