Woman, 4 accomplices sentenced to life imprisonment in murder case
Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 20 : Additional District Session Court of Osmanabad Judge M B Datey has awarded life imprisonment to a woman and her four accomplices for murdering her husband in 2011.
The court also yesterday slapped a fine of Rs 6000 to each accused.
According to the prosecution, victim's father Sakharbai Sathe, resident of Chorakhali village in Osmanabad district had filed complaint on November 9, 2011 with the Yermala police station stating that his son Prabhakar Sathe and wife Rajini Sathe were living in Osmanabad along with their two sons in a rented house.
Rajini used to sell vegetables when she developed illicit relation with one Aba Salunke and used to quarrel with her husband Prabhakar, who asked her to leave Osmanabad and come to their village Chorakhali to live there. Rajini opposed his proposal and left his house.
Prabhakar started to live in his village Chorakhali.
On Novemebr 9,2011, Rajini, Rajabhau Kadam, Dattatrya Jadhav, Rahul Landage and Aba Salunke visited Chorakhali village and beat up Prabhakar. he later fell unconscious.
Later, he was declared dead after being examined by doctors.
A case was registered against the five people under Various sections of IPC and charge sheet was filed against them in the Osmanabad session court.
After hearing both sides, Judge Datey pronounced the life imprisonment to the five and slapped a fine on them.
