Anna Nicole Smith's 'infamous reality show home' sold for USD 1.3m
Washington, March 15: The house where Anna Nicole Smith filmed 'The Anna Nicole' Show has been sold for 1.3 million dollars.
Howard K. Stern, who was dating the former Playboy Playmate before she died in 2007, sold the Mediterranean-style house for 440,000 dollars less than the asking price, Radar Online reported.
The interior decoration of the 4,700 square foot property still reflects the taste of its late owner, including a pink child's bedroom and an Andy Warhol-style portrait of Nicole.
The two-story home boasts hardwood and marble flooring, an iron staircase railing.
According to Redfin.com it also includes five en suite bathrooms, a swimming pool, a home gym and a master bedroom with a walk-in closet.
Nicole bought the home for 1,335,000 dollars in 2005 and it was originally passed on to her 6-year-old daughter Dannielynn Birkhead.
However, in April 2011, Stern, who was the executor of Nicole's estate, got permission to transfer the home's title to his name.
His lawyer Richard Petty told NBC Los Angeles that proceeds from the sale would go to Dannielynn once real estate commissions and tax liens had been deducted.
