Nita Ambani visits village in Gujarat
Selarpur, Mar 14 : Ms Nita Ambani, chairperson, Reliance Foundation, has expressed her determination to banish poverty from the country.
Ms Ambani, who visited Selarpur village of Ankleshwar in South Gujarat, under the aegis of 'Bharat India Jodo' (BIJ) yesterday, interacted with men and women from the local community and enquired about the progress made in the brief association with the Reliance Foundation.
She also listened to the villagers about their dreams for the future.
Talking to mediaperson, Ms Ambani said she would not rest till the efforts result in banishing poverty and marginality from the country.
Reliance Foundation has under taken up village transformation activities in Netrang cluster under the conceptual programme 'Bharat India Jodo'.
