3 women die after falling into liquid ash pond of CCL in Bokaro
Boakro, Mar 12 : Altogether three women today lost their lives after they accidentally fell into the liquid ash dumping pond of Kathara washery of the Central Coalfields Ltd in this district.
The women were collecting coal from a nearby heap when they accidentally slipped into the liquid ash pond and lost their lives, police sources said.
The deceased have been identified as Dhan Kumari(48), Haijra Khatoon(48), both residents of Chattargarha under Petarwar police station area and Laxmi Devi (60) of Kathara area.
Their bodies were sent to Tenughat hospital for post-mortem, sources said.
Confirming the incident, Bokaro Deputy Commissioner Arwa Rajkamal said SDO Bermo has been sent to make an inquiry into the incident.
"After the SDO's report, appropiate action will be initiated against those found guilty," Mr Rajkamal said.
