London, Mar. 13 : Troubled England football legend Paul Gascoigne has expressed his desire to star on reality television show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' to keep him away from drinking.

Fallen idol Gazza, 45, who once refused a megabucks offer to go into the jungle because he was busy drinking, said he is now ready to say yes, reports The Sun.

The star- who is also planning a TV show with soccer pal Vinnie Jones - he was asked to feature on the show before, but said that when he is drinking, he doesn't want to do anything.

Gazza hopes a new TV career will keep him on the straight and narrow after his five weeks of rehab in the US.

Gazza is even considering hosting his own chatshow as he seeks to push himself to the limit and build a new life away from booze.

The star said he is now "ready for anything" adding that it is a start and time for new challenges.

Earlier on Sunday, Gazza told the media how Arizona doctors feared he would die as his vital organs failed. He has now vowed to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings - and admitted this could be his last chance.
