Assam: IED recovered from public bus
By Hemanta Kumar Nath, Guwahati, Mar 11 : A powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was found in Assam's Bongaigaon district on Monday, officials said.
The IED was found from a passenger bus at Tamarhat in the district.
"Based on intelligence report, security forces recovered the four kilo grams weighing IED from a passenger bus," a top police official said.
Later the army bomb squad defused the IED in a safety site.
