Kazakhstan Foreign Minister to visit India

New Delhi, Mar 2 : Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Idrissov, will be on an official visit to India from Mar 3 to Mar 5, said the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday.

During his stay in New Delhi, Idrissov will hold talks with External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid on Mar 5.

"Both sides would discuss bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest," said the MEA.

"India and Kazakhstan enjoy a strategic partnership since 2009 which has been marked by regular high level exchanges and growing cooperation in diverse areas. Bilateral relationship between both the countries encompasses a number of strategic sectors including defence, counter terrorism, civil nuclear cooperation, hydrocarbons, IT, S&T and education," the ministry said.
