India reacts with anger to blasts

New Delhi/ Mumbai, Feb 21 : From celebrities to social activists and politicians, all took it to the social networking site Twitter to express anguish as well as condolence after two explosions ripped through Andhra Pradesh capital Hyderabad Thursday evening killing 12 people and wounding about 57.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: "News of blasts in Hyderabad is saddening. My condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. Praying for peace & calm there."

Social activist turned politician Arvind Kejriwalposted: "Strongly condemn Hyd (Hyderabad) blasts. V (very) sad. When will all this stop?

Former IPS officier and social activist Kiran Bedi tweeted: "Tragic Hyd Bomb blasts. If intelligence was there, these are based on a plan. There is an obvious message!Calls for a united voice! When there is active info of terror strike it is important to sound the Alert amongst general public,as also seek their support. Govt and Opposition must in national interest work unitedly to fight terror crimes and put in place a united anti terror infrastructure!"

Actress Raveena Tandon tweeted: "Was waiting for the backlash..terrorists just need an excuse to kill..any excuse,no religion teaches killing of innocent people. Indians are sitting ducks..any city we are not safe and prepared..this happens again ..its high time we don't be calm and ask for action."

Actor and filmmaker Farhan Akhtar tweeted:" Terrible news from Hyderabad. so many innocent lives lost and so many scarred for life. this terrorism has to be stopped!

Actress Sophie_Choudry tweeted:"Devastated to hear about the Terror strikes in Hydbd. Once again innocent lives lost. When will the ppl [people] feel safe?! When will we see change?!"

"I'm sick of hearing the phrase "The perpetrators will be brought to justice!" When?! And when will the system prevent the attacks instead?!
