Kolkata, Feb 14 : Parambrata Chattopadhyay released the theatrical trailer of his second directorial venture "Hawa Badol" at a city club on Wednesday.
"Hawa Bodol" is a light-hearted movie about two longlost friends transforming each other's life when they meet. The cast includes Rudranil Ghosh, Raima Sen and newcomer Neha Panda along with Parambrata Chattopadhay himself in the lead role.
"Hawa Badol has been an experience full of nostalgia. It seemed tough in the beginning since I had to do both acting and directing, but it really became enjoyable with time," said Parambrata, who plays the character of Shatrajit Mitra.
"The character of Shatrajit is of a married businessman in his early thirties with a strict and nagging wife played by Raima," he
Raima said: "It is awesome working with Param every time, whether he is a co-actor or a director."
Neha Panda, casted opposite Rudraneil, plays the role of Inca, a designer."This is my second film after 'Mach Misthi and More' and I am really enjoying working here. I am not a Bengali myself but the way the industry has accepted me is really a dream come true," she said.
Classical maestro Anindya Bose has scored the film's music. Vishal Dadlani has sung a Bengali number for the first time for this movie.
The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 13.
