Curfew relaxed in Srinagar for four hours

Srinagar, Feb 12 : Curfew has been relaxed in areas falling under five police station in the summer capital, Srinagar, this afternoon.

Police said that curfew has been relaxed, for the first time since it has been imposed since February 9 morning when parliament attack convict Afzal Guru was hanged in Delhi's Tihar jail, this afternoon in the city.

He said four-hour relaxation from 1600 hrs has been given in the areas falling under the police station Ram Munshi Bagh, Rajbagh, Sadar, Shergrahi and Kothibagh.

People rushed out of their homes to purchase essentials, including bread, vegetable, milk and medicines.
