BAFTA 2013: 'Argo' bags Best Film
London, Feb 11 : Actor-filmmaker Ben Affleck and his latest flick 'Argo' shined at the 66th British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards here as he grabbed the the 'Best Director' and 'Best Film' awards on Sunday night.
"I feel like there must be some mistake," Affleck told CNN.
"It's really thrilling. I mean I've never been to the BAFTAs before, I've never been nominated before, never even been invited before, nothing. So I feel like I am sneaking in under the gate. I'm just thrilled," he said.
Actor Daniel Day-Lewis clinched the 'Leading Actor' award for his performance in the film "Lincoln".
Emmanuelle Riva won the 'Leading Actress' award for her performance in the film 'Amour'.
