Hurriyat leader's kin alleges detention in Delhi
New Delhi, Feb 9 : Journalist Iftikhar Geelani, son-in-law of Kashmiri separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani, Saturday claimed that he and his family were detained by police at their house here ahead of Afzal Guru's hanging. Police denied the claim.
Gilani, in a post on a social networking site, "My phone off...not receiving or calling. I am now in office...was detained along with wife and children. My children kept locked in bed room separately".
Later in the afternoon, Gilani again tweeted that he was allowed to move out: "After my whole office arrived on scene...my wife and me were kept in separate house."
