Hamilton cherishing life with 'supportive' Mercedes despite tumultuous first week
London, Feb 9 : Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton has praised new team Mercedes, saying that they have been supportive since his arrival from McLaren despite a tumultuous first week with the Brackley based team.
Hamilton said that his new Mercedes team was caring and concerned after his crash during his debut drive even though he was still a relative stranger, the Mirror reports.
Praising the energy, fitness and the motivation in the team, Hamilton said that he was already building a bond with his engineers and the mechanics in his team, who, he added train during the evenings.
However, Hamilton confessed that there is a lot of hard work ahead to bring Mercedes to the top levels of the game.
After a tumultuous start with Nico Rosberg's fire and Hamilton's crash Mercedes have racked up an impressive lap count to recover some of the lost ground in the last two days.
