Rs 20 lakh robbed from cattle trader
Guntur Feb 4 : In a filmy style robbery, two unidentified miscreants robbed a cattle trader of cash Rs 20 lakh, at Manukondavari Palem village in Chilakaluri Pet mandal of the district today.
Police said the victim, a cattle trader, sold buffaloes to a Chennai trader. He went to Chennai and collected cash.
While he was returning to his village from Chilakaluri Pet on a bike along with his friend, two unidentified persons, on motorcycle, shadowed him. When he came to village, they dashed with the bike. When the victim fell down, they snatched the cash bag and fled.
Police registered a case and launched a search for the robbers.
