Partho Chatterjee inaugurates amusement park
By Barshali Banerjee, Kolkata, Feb 5 : West Bengal Commerce and Industry Minister Partho Chatterjee on Saturday inaugurated an amusement park namely 'Garden Ujjaini Park' here.
The project is a venture by Broadway Realtor at Joyenpur, near Garia station.
The park has been set up on a 10 bigha plot along with a lawn of 1 bigha area for children and people who want to spend some quality time despite the concrete urbanized city culture all around.
Events like marriage, birthday party or official conference can be arranged in the 1400 square foot area of the conference room which is a part of the amusement park.
Partho Chatterjee said, "Though it is a good attempt by the investors to make a healthy use of the land, it would be worthy enough if they use it for agricultural purpose, as agriculture and industry are both important for a sound condition of a society."
He added, "Agricultural use can retain the fertility of the acquired land, as it gives a good return along with experimentation in agricultural advancement. So the investors must take it as a real corporate social responsibility." --IBNS
