Under-recovery on diesel increases

New Delhi, Feb 1 : The Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas have reviewed international prices of crude oil and petroleum products during the second fortnight of January.

Accordingly, the under-recovery on High Speed Diesel (HSD) applicable for second fortnight of January effective Feb 1 has increased to Rs 9.22 /Litre.

This was Rs 9.03 per litre effective Jan 1 for first fortnight of January.

In case of Domestic LPG the under-recovery for is Rs 481.00 cylinder for January.

The Under-recovery on PDS Kerosene of Rs 31.60 per litre for January.

OMCs are currently (effective Feb 1) incurring daily under-recovery of about Rs 400 crore on the sale of Diesel, PDS Kerosene and Domestic LPG.

This was Rs 384 crore per day for the previous fortnight effective Jan 16.
