Skill Summit in MP capital from Jan 31
Bhopal, Jan 29 : Aimed at providing job opportunities to youths, unemployed educated persons and school dropouts, the Madhya Pradesh Government is organising a two-day skill summit from January 31 at Lal Parade Ground here
"Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP and former union minister Venkaiah Naidu and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the summit themed 'Skilling Madhya Pradesh'," Technical Education Minister Laxmikant Sharma told reporters here
The main objective of the skill summit is holding discussions on the possibilities of business, progress, technical education and employment apart from motivating ITI (industrial training institutes) and polytechnic pass outs and guiding them toward job opportunities
Prestigious industrial house like Eicher Motors, TATA Internationals, Bosch India Limited, Kirloskar, NIIT, Pratibha, ADAR and training providers like Pratham Education, Centum Learning, Empower Pragati, Premium Institute and the state government's various departments will take part in the summit. About 25,000 ITI and polytechnic pass outs will participate in the programme
Seminar and discussions by experts will be held on technical as well as skill development works in progress in the state. On the second day, a panel discussion will be held on skill development
During the summit, live demonstration of smart classroom, advance engineering laboratory and business process outsourcing will be held. A thematic show will also be organised that will be based on self-assessment and management
