Poachers killed one more rhino in Assam's Kaziranga National Park (KNP) in the wee hours of Tuesday, officials said.
It was the second poaching in KNP in past 24 hours.
The male rhino was killed by poachers, who later chopped off its horn.
"The forest guards found the body of de-horned rhino at Chilimkhowa area near the park on Tuesday morning," a park official said.
"Forest guards also recovered two empty cartridges of 303 rifle near the rhino body," official said.
On Sunday night, poachers killed a male rhino and fled with its horn at Burapahar range under the park.
It was the fifth incident in KNP this year; so far poachers have killed five rhinos in KNP and managed to flee with their horns.
