Posh hires celeb interior designer to give new 20m pound London pad a makeover
Having settled into a lavish 20-million-pound West London pad and enrolling her three sons in a fancy 15,000 pounds-a-year school, Victoria Beckham is now giving her family's new house a makeover.
According to sources, the former Spice Girl has enlisted the services of celeb interior designer pal Kelly Hoppen to mastermind the house refurb and give it a calm feel, the Mirror reported.
The modern property, which has been described as James Bond-style - thanks to its state-of-the-art security and impressive mod cons, currently has a bachelor pad vibe.
Mum-of-four Victoria, 38, is keen to replace it with her signature chic polish and add a feminine touch.
Hoppen, 53, whose A-list clientele includes Elton John and Frank Lampard and Christine Bleakley, has been spotted at the house several times over the past month overseeing furniture deliveries.
Victoria has been mates with Hoppen for years and employed her to do up the Beckhams' LA mansion and design the backdrops for her New York fashion shows.
She is a huge fan of Hoppen's distinctive style and wants her London mansion to resemble elements of her home in LA, with a neutral colour scheme, straight clean lines and lots of fresh flowers and scented candles.
"Victoria loves Kelly's taste and knows she can trust her to do the best job," a source said.
